Review the Three C’s: the content, the context, and the needs of the individual child.
Content – How does this help children learn, engage, express, imagine, or explore?
Context – What kinds of social interactions (such as conversations with parents or peers) are happening before, during, and after the use of the technology? Does it complement and not interrupt children’s learning experiences and natural play patterns?
The Individual Child – What does this child need right now to enhance their growth and development? Is this technology an appropriate match with this child’s needs, abilities, interests, and development stage? (Department of Education, 2022).
Your video presentation will provide parents and families with developmentally appropriate distance learning tips and techniques, including when and how children can use the computer safely based on the Three C’s.
You want parents and families to understand there are safety risks for young preschoolers online even though they will be exposed to fewer risks than older preschoolers using the internet independently.
Write an outline for your presentation following the guidelines below. You may create a PowerPoint presentation, if you find it helpful. However, the presentation document is not a requirement for this assignment.

Introduction: Imagine you are the teacher and your video viewers are parents. Begin your video with an introduction: Introduce yourself, your name, your current role in the early learning program, your experience working with children and families, and include other information you feel relevant to share.

Pictures or voices are also more likely to engage younger children and keep them interested in the program.
