Scenario 2: The text of this chapter, along with the three files associated with the case are posted in our Module 5-6 folder in Blackboard, refers to the O’Brien v. The Ohio State University case, which concluded that the university committed a material breach of contract in dismissing the coach. Assume you are the negotiators representing a university seeking to hire a successful basketball coach. The coach, while at another school, coached that men’s team into the NCAA round of 16 for the past 4 years. Compose detailed responses to all of the following questions.
Contract Law questions:
1. What new provisions would you publish regarding termination that you think adequately protect the university from a situation encountered in the O’Brien case?
2. What compromises would you make with the coach to secure more power to terminate them?
