Produce a creative project or write a 5-page paper about what you discovered about the song, yourself, and the connections to the course material. If you chose to do a painting or non-verbal visual art, please attach the analysis from step 1 with your final piece along with a 3-page essay explaining the representation and how it specifically connects to the ideas of at least 3 resources from this course.
All papers and projects must:
Have a clear central thesis, even if you are not choosing to write an analytical thesis paper.
The thesis is explained by your claims that are supported by evidence from the specific materials you selected from the course content.
You must use a minimum of 3 articles and/or documentaries from the course content in support of your thesis. Use both direct quotes as well as indirect quotes.
You may use outside resources as well, but not in place of course materials.
Fulfil the requirements outlined in the rubric.
The more creative your project choice, the more expressive you can be in exploring the connections between your selected song and the course materials.

12-point font
1-inch margins
Use proper MLA formatting. This means there are in-text citations for both direct and indirect quotes along with a citation page at the end. The class resources and song must be included in this list.
Checked for proper spelling and grammar
You will be evaluated on how well you analyze the lyrics and music for content, theme, personal connections, and how the course resources support your analysis of the song.
