This week you will write an essay based on a case study of Hurricane Katrina in order to understand how the vulnerability of a community can impact its ability to not only survive a disaster but recover.
Write a 1,000 to 1,100-word analysis comparing the components of disaster recovery and various factors that contribute to a community’s vulnerability to disaster as related to Hurricane Katrina.
Describe four critical components related to Hurricane Katrina’s short-term recovery operation (two components) and long-term recovery operation (two components).
