Objective: The Vocabulary that you work with here, will include details that will assist you in knowing what art is made of. Generally speaking, artists use an array of items and materials in order to create art work. You will be able to describe component materials used in the construction and manipulation of items in space to create art.
PART 1 CHOSE 10 MATERIALS AND THEN write definitions: Make a list of TEN vocabulary terms that are exactly art materials or vocabulary associated with art materials that you have never heard or were just unfamiliar with. Then, create a definition for each 10 – if you copy a definition simply include a note as to the source. Try to write your own definition or you must put quotation marks and give credit.
Part 2: list a work of art for each vocabulary term -the art work is the visual example of the art material.
a) List one works of art for each medium (artist material)– check the list of art mediums here below. When you locate the art work that can be used as an example for the material chosen, make sure you write the title, date, artist’s name and the page number) You will be choosing 10 works of art – you do not need to explain your reason for the selections that you list. b)The artwork you chose is an example of how the artist uses the material/medium. In other words One material/medium matched with one work of art. Add the theme or the type of art – don’t stress this category, try your best.

Instructions: Focus on categories listed below. Chose three (3) timeperiods and write about an art work that represents the time. Eplain why the art that you have selected, is a good example of the art from that time/category. Make sure the art works you explain the contectual information that shows the activities, and major historical moments from that time.
