Hello this is a Packet Tracer issue. I performed the below steps but I can’t get my pc0 and pc4 to do the required pings. I set all passwords to cisco.
VLSM addressing scheme and RFC 1918 private addressing.
-Use public addresses between Routers.
-Use private addresses for LANs
On all IOS devices
Configure hostnames, user EXEC and privileged EXEC secret passwords, encrypt all passwords, and provide legal notification.
Enable SSHv2, disable Telnet, and authenticate using two local database entries (ADMIN and JR-ADMIN).
-Configure the SSH timeout to be 45 seconds.
-Configure the SSH authentication retries to be 2.
Save all configurations to the TFTP server.
Connect all hosts, enable all connected interfaces, and assign appropriate interface descriptions.
Configure a loopback on each Vianet router.
On all Switches
All switches configure the Management SVI and assign the default gateway.
Create and name VLANs:
– A management VLAN for 6 hosts.
– A user VLAN for 20 hosts.
– A user VLAN for 50 hosts.
– A native VLAN.
– An unused VLAN.
Assign hosts to VLANs. Assign TFTPServer and ManagementPC to the management VLAN.
LAN Redundancy
Configure Rapid PVST+ on all switches.
Configure STP Root Switches:
– HQDist1 must be the STP root for the Management VLAN, and backup root for User VLANs.
– HQDist2 must be the STP root for User VLANs and backup root for the Management VLAN.
Configure LACP EtherChannels between Distribution layer switches and HQCOre1 using four ports for each switch.
Configure 802.1Q trunks, identify the native VLAN, and allow only active VLANs except for the unused VLAN.
Configure HQ Router as trunk ports (Router on a Stick) to support routing for all VLANs and include interface descriptions per subinterface created.
Secure all switches and configure an ACL
Configure port security on all access ports, maximum 2 MAC addresses, learned dynamically, violation mode restrict, and MAC addresses must persist after a reboot.
Disable unused ports, make them access ports, and assign them to the unused VLAN.
Configure PortFast and BPDU Guard on access ports.
Disable CDP on access ports.
Configure an ACL that blocks all user VLANs from accessing the port the ManagementPC is located on.
Routing and NAT
Configure OSPF, router IDs, advertise specific networks, and set appropriate reference bandwidth.
-Only share IPv4 Public addresses with OSPF.
-Do not configure a default static route.
-Reference bandwidth must support your fastest connection.
-Configure OSPF hello and dead timers to a setting other than default but keep best practices.
Set LAN interfaces as passive.
Configure PAT on both Branch and HQRTR’s to allow all internal clients access to the Public Internet.
Miscellaneous
Verify connectivity between LAN hosts. Provide screenshots of PC0 and PC4 successfully pinging the following:
HQDist2
HQA3
Internal WebServer IP address
Loopback interfaces on each Vianet Router
BranchRTR1’s external IP address
PC2
Verify ACL is configured by providing a screenshot of PC1 pinging the ManagementPC.
Verify WebServer NAT. Provide a screenshot of BranchPC1 pinging the external IP address for your WebServer.
