Final – Marketing Plan – Team Assignment
Together with one or two classmates, you will complete a term-long project that will culminate with an original marketing plan which includes both a presentation and written document. Your team will present the marketing plan in a recorded presentation. Every team member needs to present a section. In addition, each member is also required to comment on the presentations of other team members via the discussion board. The final piece is a written marketing plan with a minimum of 8 pages. Ideal length is 10-15 pages.

Here are the details of the marketing plan assignment:
-Your team is tasked with developing a marketing plan, including specific recommendations for launching or re-launching a service or product, to pitch to the target company.
-Identify a product/service: Choose a product, service, or brand in need of marketing support (i.e., is underperforming, or has the capacity to increase market share). You do not need to have inside knowledge of this business, nor do you need access to marketing research on this business. Your marketing plan must include new, original marketing ideas, rather than a summary of the company’s existing practices.
Develop a marketing plan

-Start with an outline of your plan and include the product, service, or brand you will focus on; and an outline of the sections of your marketing plan with 1-2 sentences/phrases under each section. This will get you started and headed in the right direction.
Marketing Plan Team Presentation:
-You will submit a 10-minute presentation on your marketing plan via Canvas.
-You should use audio/visual aids, such as PowerPoint. The idea is to submit the key points from your Marketing Plan. This presentation should be shorter than your overall plan.
Peer Feedback via Canvas: You will also be asked to provide peer feedback via the Discussion Board on Canvas and incorporate any feedback of your presentation/plan in your final submission.
Submit Final Marketing Plan: Submit a marketing plan utilizing the provided template and the feedback from your classmates.
Grading based on the following guidelines:
Entrepreneurial Thinking (50%)
▪ Demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking by identifying and exploiting opportunities for improved marketing, using creativity and problem-solving skills to approach the situation, adapting to uncertainty, and using reflection to develop insight into your target brand/product/organization’s strengths and
areas for improvement.
Content and Development (50%)
▪ All components are addressed in the plan in a substantive way.
▪ Major points are stated clearly; are supported by specific details, examples, or analysis; and are organized logically.
▪ The summary provides sufficient background on the topic and previews major points.
▪ The conclusion is logical, flows from the body of the presentation, and reviews the major points.
Presentation grading:
▪ Presentation transitions are present, logical, and maintain the flow throughout.
▪ The tone is appropriate to the content and assignment.
▪ Rules of grammar and usage are followed.
▪ Presenters speak clearly and audibly.
