Organizational behavior is the combination of four areas of study—psychology, social psychology, sociology, and anthropology. While each of these areas involves an examination of people and their interactions, the focuses are quite different:
Psychology studies the mind and how people make decisions.
Social Psychology examines how people work in groups.
Sociology explores how systems work within the organization.
Anthropology examines how culture works within the organization.
Now, assume that you are an organizational consultant and have been asked by a new CEO to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the organization.

Good Morning,
In psychology, I’ll look at how the entire company thinks and decide on one of the four I’ve selected.
I chose this location because I know that everyone struggles at some point in their lives, and it is my responsibility as a business professional to first understand their habits and evaluate how they make decisions. By understanding how they act and decide, I can also quickly provide inspiration to the entire company.
It would also help me understand how individuals behave and perform in the workplace if I knew how they think and make decisions. Additionally, analyzing their decision-making processes will help me come up with and understand all the factors that might motivate them, improve their performance, and help organizations generate a strong and dependable connection with one another.
As a professional in business, I must assume that decisions also involve emotions. I’ll be more likely to persuade everyone to do anything if I understand how they are feeling about the option and feed that feeling so that I can immediately engage with them rather than just producing rational arguments. For instance, my messaging should focus more on making the recipient feel safe and secure than on how she performs if someone in the organization is feeling nervous about making a poor decision. To be successful, each member of a firm must first become acquainted with one another. The strategy they choose and believe will be the most beneficial one for their business.
