ALSO, I NEED NOTES BECAUSE ITS A PRESENTATION. (INCLUDE THEM IN THE DOC WHERE I ALREADY HAVE NOTES, OR MAKE A NEW DOCUMENT WITH ALL THE RELEVANT NOTES). Please either make all the necessary changes and make this presentation 100% accurate to the guidelines and feedback, or make a whole new one within the time frame. Also, dont forget the in text citations and references.
It’s not clear whether Skou is authoritarian or democratic – as long as you make this crystal clear when you speak then this would be OK.
You don’t need to explain the theory, so slides 3 and 4 are redundant. It would be good to see a label on the diagram in slide 3 to say where Skou would be. Also you ‘contrast with a conservative company’ but you say he’s at the far left of the diagram – rather confusing.
I’m not convinced that Skou’s overall strategic thrust (e.g. carbon neutrality goals) is connected to leadership. Do you have any actual anecdotes or reports where Skou interacts with one or more individuals?
For punctuated equilibrium and creative destruction the idea is that they are completely different concepts, p.e. is long periods of stability interspersed with sudden revolutionay change. c.d. is about constant change in all areas. So you need to provide evidence that supports one or the other. And you need to indicate a timescale of probably at least 5 years of stability (p.e.) within which, or at the end of which, something very sudden and dramatic happend. Either that or at least 5 years of intense constant change (c.d.).
So far there’s little or no evidence for either of these in the slides. You might want to think about using a different model.
Also these concepts usually apply at the scale of the industy / economy, so you need to be clear about what you are applying them to.
You need better examples throughout, and more of them.
The written formative appears to avoid actually apply p.e. and c.d. – which concept characterizes Maersk’s environment? This is very unclear.
Also, please be very careful – Tannenbaum and Schmidt (T&S)’s continuum uses ‘authoritarian’ leadership at one end. This is NOT the same meaning as ‘authoritative’., they are very very significantly different. Please look them both up -I think this might be the source confusion in the writer’s mind about how to use T&S.
